Step-by-step:
row 1: leave hair in curlers for ~20 hours; remove curlers (huh - hair doesn't actually look that different)
row 2: section off the front part and roll it up over a leopard print pillow roller; secure roller with bobby pins; pull some other hair over to cover the ends of the roller so they don't show
row 3: put in more bobby pins and hairspray until it seems like it's going to stay put; top off with a little felt flower clip (constructed in about 10 minutes to match the outfit).
Successful hair trial!

You know, the thing about any street fair out here is that it would be too warm to wear any of those comfortably. I think I live on the wrong coast!
