If you're not already watching the [livejournal.com profile] snarry_games, you should run right over there and check out all the wonderful art! My entry went up yesterday, about which I am super excited.

I did an interview earlier, too. So what are you waiting for ... go over and check it out!

Great idea!

Hello! I don't usually comment on art, (too many good pieces to give EVERY artist my response) but I had to say something about your art.

Wow.

What amazing choices you've made. The costumes (and importantly, the costume pieces,--- I almost died for Lucius' wedding ring) are perfect. Snape's many-buttoned robes, the potion bottles that litter any area Snape crosses----like the bathtub!--- are such creative additions. And your models are canon. Snape is your best, I think, because he's so easily recognizable, but your Harry and Lucius still make my heart stop. And the last shot in this series of Harry's eyes..... fantastic. The expression, the trust despite the pain. Perfect. And your choice of bondage art for amanuensis1 story was a great addition. However, a more inclusive picture might have illuminated the subject more. Where was Snape? There is a black whisp of fabric in the corner--- is that Snape? If so, why did you choose to cut him out?
But really, fantastic job. It's so fresh, adding a new faucet to Snarry art, something I am much obliged to you for.
Cheers!

Yay! I'm so glad you like the pictures, and I'm so flattered that you took the time to find them all and comment. Thank you!

As for the picture for the amanuensis story ... there's not much Snape in there because he's entirely digital ... I hadn't even started sewing a Snape costume back then, so I had to wing it. Also, the bondage photo was one I'd taken for a different project the previous year. It had been really fun to do all that knot-work, but it took a long time, so I got lazy and just reused the image rather than create a new one. It is something I'd like to do more of .... oh, and next time I'll be able to show more Snape, since I have the costume now! :)

I was wondering if i could use one of your photo's for my Art Alevel? I'd like to do a John Cassaday style study, you of course will recive full credit for the photograph, and i'd be very happy to show you what i have done with it, if you would like?

Would that be allright? Feel free to tell me to fuck off :)

Sorry to bother, but I was wondering if you have that thumbnail in a larger size? I looked for it at the original entry at the [livejournal.com profile] snarry_games, but didn't see this particular image. *stares at image for a long time* Snape's head and his hand...and Harry's head...oh please tell me there's a larger image!

Oh, and I hope you don't mind if I friend you! I can't wait to see what other great photography you post next! :D

I'd forgotten that I didn't end up including that one in the final piece. You can see a larger image here (http://pics.livejournal.com/nakedbee/pic/00016474) ... and it's no bother at all ... it's super exciting whenever someone expresses an interest!

Friend away!

:)
