SG/GK Set & Location Research
May. 16th, 2008 06:39 pmOK, so that's finished for now! I hadn't fully comprehended how many separate sets/locations were required for this project, but I've certainly got a better idea now (27!).
The indoor sets are going to be fabulous! I think making them will be pretty straightforward, but I am a little worried about finding a big space enough space in which to put them. Event space that can handle a 50 person banquet seems to be optimized for weddings and the like and so is priced in the $1,000+ a day range, which seems excessive. Hmmm ... maybe a self-storage place? Any of you own an empty warehouse you're looking to rent out later this year?
The outdoor locations are going to be gorgeous (since nature will be doing most of the work). I've been perusing the commercial photography permit process for state parks and national forests. It's a little intimidating but I'm optimistic. Although if any of you have a few acres of wilderness property in California let me know so I can start persuading you to let me use it. :)
So exciting!
