SG/GK Update

First a reminder: construction party starts at 10am this Saturday. There'll be some woodworking, lots of paper mache, and also some tracing & paint-by-numbers type work.

Fabric continues to turn into costumes at a brisk pace. We've still got a way to go, but it's starting to look less impossible. :)



garlikmongere has produced a number of gorgeously tailored garments recently, some of which are pictured below:

Cape & tunic (Gawain's clothes that he gets while staying at the High Desert Castle)


hood & tunic (after drawing the sketch I realized that the text specified that his robe had a hood on it - therefore the detachable hood & capelet)


another tunic (there were supposed to be sleeves, but I bought this fabric before realizing it was 31" wide rather than the more standard 45" or 60" and so didn't buy enough. garlikmongere is extremely skilled, though, and managed to produce a full-length tunic with a clever piecing strategy.)


The Green Knight's horse will be wearing more faux fur & leather than actual fabric. :)

The head servant in the High Desert (outdoor wear - because it would be pretty mean to make him stand out in the snow in that other outfit)
