Dear Festividder,

I'm so excited to be participating in Festivids this year! I know I will be happy with whatever you make for any of the fandoms below.

The list:
Archer
Romy and Michele's High School Reunion
D.E.B.S.
The Dresden Files
Ghost Dog
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters
Constantine
Wonderfalls

I've provided a few details, but feel free to follow the muse wherever it leads. I adore experimental art vids just as much as happy squee-fest vids and everything in between! My musical tastes tend to run to happy & lyrical over slow & instrumental, and in vid subjects I tend to prefer a focus on characters, relationships, or visual elements over plot re-caps but really, anythings goes if you get a good idea. Just go for it!

Archer
I find this series hilarious and have such a good time watching it! The 60s-esque visuals, the spy action cliches, the ridiculous office ensemble interactions … it's all so awesome! Sterling and all his ridiculousness is my favorite aspect of the show, but I also have a big crush on Lana and her amazingness, large hands and all!

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion
I love this movie and everything about it. I have watched it a billion times and never get tired of their devotion to one another, their awesome clothes and the lovingly mocking 80s flashbacks! I never fail to tear up when Michele confesses her terrible dream about a future in which she's not friends with Romy - Oh! The tragedy! When I'm folding laundry, I often pretend I'm just acting out the final scene when they fold scarves. Good times!

D.E.B.S.
This is pretty much my favorite movie of all time. I'll love any take on it! I think it might be fun to explore the squad dynamics or maybe trace the ups and downs of Max & Amy's friendship or just celebrate all the over-the-top hijinks (plaid force fields!!).

The Dresden Files
I found the television series delightful and was sad it only ran 12 episodes. It deserves more love! My favorite details were the practical wizardry bits: the hockey stick as wizard's staff and drumstick as wand.

Ghost Dog
I saw and loved this film when it first came out, but I'll admit I haven't seen it since then. I'm requesting it partly to have an excuse to revisit it. I love genre mashups and this samurai/mafia hybrid is no exception.

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters
I thought this movie was a ton of fun. I know objectively it wasn't a great film, but I relished every moment of it. Action! Adventure! Candy! What's not to love?

Constantine
Here's another that I saw and loved when it first came out, but haven't seen since then. I remember loving the visual look of the film and I'm always a sucker for religious imagery. I enjoyed Keanu Reeves as Constantine and remember being blown away by Tilda Swinton as Gabriel.

Wonderfalls
I think this is the show that introduced me to the wonders of TV-on-DVD. A gem of a show that should have lasted longer than it did. Mahandra is probably my favorite character … she's just so cute! I also adore the talking animals and Jaye's futile attempts to be a slacker.
