For the very first post in this, my shiny new fanart LJ, I present two images of our favorite Potions Master enjoying a relaxing evening with a book. I couldn't decide whether Snape was more a cup of tea or rubber duckie type, so I made both. Enjoy!

I love your use of photography as an art form for fiction. I believe you may be the only live-action photographer in the fandom. And you're lucky to have a willing husband.

I Love this image of Snape because it is the very embodiment of my favorite story by one of my favorite writers, The Treacle Tart. She wrote The Tao of Diogenes (http://thetreacletart.livejournal.com/34931.html) which never fails to give me hope.

hi, I trolled through your journal today. It's so cool and very original that you use photography for a fan art medium. I'm digging on it. Also when I saw the rubber duckie I immediately thought of treacletart's fic (I lurved that). It cracked me up that you hadn't read it previously.

Your photos are all wonderful. I boggle at the idea of you finding models to work with.

Thanks so much! I definitely feel lucky to have such accommodating friends. Although it can take a long time to actually get a photoshoot together, it's still a lot faster than me trying to learn to draw. :)
