Seriously, I've watched this about 10 times already and it is still making me ridiculously happy.

springbok1 is in the target demographic and so was able to share this delightful piece of viral marketing with her flist. My roommate D saw it and made us all watch it last night (incidentally, she used to build similar kinds of equipment, back when she built robots). We ended up watching it several times, and squealing in delight at the extra features: ring tones, wallpapers, and even a making-of gallery! Also, it looks like the video was shot in the Bay Area, so there's also the little thrill of recognizing the landscape.The whole thing is just so gleefully enthusiastic in a way that niche markets rarely allow themselves. I mean, we're used to fluffy, over-the-top ads for mass-marketed products, but somehow it's extremely surprising to see such a light-hearted approach in a company selling such a specialized product. I say more power to them! It would certainly liven up my days when I return to cubicle-land if the industrial supply companies I buy from took this approach in their marketing efforts.
